Entry for the 2019 marathon closes on Friday 17th May at midnight. Thank you to everyone who’s already entered! For those of you who’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time to get that entry in. You know you want to! You’ll find all details for entering here.
For those using a paper entry form, if we don’t have it by Friday at 5pm, we can still take your entry but your name won’t make it into the race-day programme.
Preparations for race day are now into the final exciting stages. We took delivery today of the gorgeous marathon, half marathon and relay medals. We think you’ll really like them this again this year. They’re designed by Titan Sports and feature a nautical theme, a nod to SeaFest that takes place in Cork a week after our marathon.
The gorgeous shirts from 42K Running are also due this week, so we’re really looking forward to seeing them.
Please remember that you have to come to Registration in Cork City Hall on Saturday 1st June to pick up your race number and shirt. (For relay teams, you have the option of registering on Thursday evening.) We’ll have details of the Expo early next week, but it’ll be another busy day in the Concert Hall with sports and fitness related stands and a programme of talks to give you advice on your last-minute preps for race day.
