About Cork
Cork is Ireland's second largest city, with a population of about 300,000 people. It's a port city on the southern coast of the country and has major air, rail, road and some sea links.
In this section you'll find information on how to get to Cork, the most convenient way of getting around the city and information on accommodation within the city centre.
The main tourist office in the city is on the Grand Parade, where you'll find information and advice about most aspects of your visit.
