Without the co-operation and assistance of the Garda Síochána, it would not be possible to host a major sporting event such as the Marathon. The Gardaí at the Anglesea Street Headquarters in Cork have not only been supportive, but have been actively involved in the preparations for this extraordinary event. Cork City Marathon is very grateful to all those involved and looks forward to many more years of working with our partners in the Garda Síochána (and we're not just saying that ‘cause they're the Gardaí!).
