Bus Éireann

Cork City Marathon will work closely with our partners in Bus Éireann to ensure as efficient a bus service as is possible on Race Day.

Bus Éireann provides bus services throughout Cork as it does throughout Ireland, with the exception of Dublin City. Our services comprise over 50 routes, linking cities and major towns throughout the country, including destinations in Northern Ireland. We offer excellent value through our frequent services and choice of departure times with modern high quality coaches.

We offer a wide range of services from:

• Expressway inter-urban coach services
• Eurolines coach services to Britain and Europe
• City bus services - in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford
• Town services in Athlone, Balbriggan, Drogheda, Dundalk, Navan and Sligo
• Commuter bus services radiating from Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford
• Local bus services throughout Ireland
• School bus services - on behalf of the Department of Education & Science
• Ancillary services - coach and bus hire, vehicle testing, contract maintenance, parcels delivery, etc

It is not necessary to reserve seats in advance on our Expressway services. You may purchase your ticket at any of our Travel Centres or Booking Offices in the main centres, or on the bus if you are joining our services outside main centres.
